The introduction of the book "Ali Alışır 2009-2019," written by Derya Yücel and published by Bozlu Sanat Yayınları, along with a selection of artworks from all periods, is presented at Bozlu Art Project Mongeri Building.
The book delves into Ali Alışır's artistic practice, examining distinct periods. It explores the series created by the artist between 2009 and 2019, such as "Hybrid Souls" (2017), "Cosmos" (2016), "Virtual Landscapes" (2014), "Virtual Wars" (2012), "Virtual Spaces" (2011), and "Virtual Bodies" (2009). These series trace a narrative of the body's creation, its identification with space, its departure from space to engage in battles with other bodies, the transition from conflict to surrendering to nature and landscapes, and the exploration of the cosmos by turning from the world to the universe. The book unfolds the visual and imagistic journey of Ali Alışır's individual civilization narrative, providing a narrative that extends from the universe to his internal and spiritual quest for existence. The parallel exhibition, organized in conjunction with the book, allows art enthusiasts to visually experience the confirmation of the book's content.
